About the role - Kōrero mō te tūranga

The Coordinator, Workplace Experience and Capability, is a key role in the Workforce Experience and Capability team. This role provides high-quality coordination and administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of capability programmes, learning initiatives, and internal engagement activities across the Ministry.

 

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is a well-organised, positive, supportive team member.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for organizational and learning development programmes, workshops, and events.
  • Maintain programme calendars, bookings, and communications with internal stakeholders.
  • Support the development and distribution of materials and resources.
  • Track participation, feedback, and evaluation data for reporting and improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records in relevant systems and shared drives.
  • Provide administrative support for procurement, invoicing, and contracts.
  • Assist with internal communications and updates related to initiatives being delivered by the team.
  • Support cross-team collaboration and contribute to a positive team culture.

The full salary range for this role is $58,924 and $75,292  total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.

We’re looking for applicants with a majority of the following:

 

  • Proactive, pragmatic, and positive attitude.
  • Experience in coordination or administration roles, ideally in HR or Organizational and Learning Development environments.
  • Experience with procurement and financial systems and processes.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
  • Commitment to inclusive practices.
  • Understanding of The Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti, Te Reo Māori, and Māori customs and protocols would be beneficial.
