Play a key role supporting the development of MFAT’s Capital Works Programme to renew, renovate and build NZ’s overseas property stock.
About the role - Kōrero mō te tūranga
As the Senior Project Coordinator, you will assist the Construction Director and Project Managers with documentation and coordination management to ensure projects with a Pacific focus are delivered to consistent standards and timelines are met.
Key duties include:
- Coordinate meetings, maintain schedules and provide admin assistance for budget, documentation and reporting systems and processes.
- Assist in the selection and engagement of suppliers and contractors both on shore and offshore.
- Administer all Property/Asset documentation and resource libraries ensuring all documentation is accurate, readily accessible and supports delivery of the Division’s plans

The salary range for this role is $87,672 and $103,143 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.

We’d like to hear from you if you are an experienced professional with the following skills and experience:
- A tertiary qualification in project management or administration is beneficial, preferably with offshore experience, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Soundtrack record of at least 3 years in project support or equivalent roles, preferably in a project/programme delivery environment
- Logistic management especially involving multiple providers and international freight routes would be advantageous
- Experience coordinating construction projects and vendor relationships would be beneficial
- Understanding of The Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti, Te Reo Māori and Māori customs and protocols would be beneficial.
