Senior Adviser Workplace Experience

 

About the role - Kōrero mō te tūranga

 

This is a key role within the People Division, responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating organisational development initiatives that enhance the Ministry’s workplace experience. You’ll contribute to a work programme including:

 

  • Leading the design and co-ordinating delivery of our Early in Careers programme
  • Supporting the continued delivery of, and response to, our workplace experience surveys
  • Contributing to priority initiatives including performance management and talent management
  • Leading the implementation of the Ministry’s diversity and inclusion priorities in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Evaluating the impact of initiatives and using data to support continuous imrovement

The full salary range for this role is $106,973 and $144, 727 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.

We’d like to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

 

  • Proven experience in the delivery of OD projects in a range of areas of organisational development such as Workplace Experience, Values, Diversity and Inclusion, Cultural change, Capability Development, Leadership Development, Change Management, and Employee Engagement.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Well-developed ability to analyse and interpret complex information to provide clear, evidence-based advice and make effective, well-reasoned decisions.
  • Inclusive and adaptive working style and the ability to influence and develop trust and credibility with key stakeholders.
  • Degree in Human Resources, employment law, international relations, political science or an equivalent qualification from a related field; or equivalent level of experience working in an ER/HR role.
