Project Manager

Play a key role by contributing to the delivery of MFAT’s Capital Works Programme to renew, renovate and build NZ’s overseas property stock.
About the role - Kōrero mō te tūranga
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for driving the investment deliverables and outcomes from initiation to the closing phases of projects.
Key duties include:
- Managing the development the project scope, design, and production of project documentation
- Contribute to the development, review, and approval of business cases as/when required
- Identify, communicate, and manage risk through the life cycle of the project
- Prepare and manage timeline, key milestones, and budget in conjunction with the project team

The salary range for this role is $124,674 to $146,675 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.

We’d like to hear from you if you are an experienced Project Manager with the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of five years successful experience in leading property projects in the property/construction industry
- Well-developed understanding and implementation of property project management methodology , practices and systems.
- Sound knowledge of the technical matters associated with property projects.
- Problem solving skills and an ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and competing demands.
- Understanding of The Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti, Te Reo Māori and Māori customs and protocols would be beneficial.
