Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role  

 

The Lead Information Analyst role sits within the Ministry’s Knowledge, Information and Analytics team.

 

In this role you will undertake information management discovery and design activities for the next phase of the Ministry Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Programme.

 

The focus of this role is to:

  • undertake a stocktake of Ministry information to understand who uses it, and the associated legislative obligations that apply; then
  •  support business case development through work on high-level information architecture and other information management deliverables.

 

You will join a multi-faceted, highly skilled team with accountability for:

  • information and knowledge management;
  • data and analytics; and
  • history and heritage.

The full FTE salary range for this role is $106,973 and $144,727 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3.5% KiwiSaver employer contribution (pro rata for part time). We expect to appoint around the midpoint of $125,850 depending on your level of experience.

 

The schedule of work is open to negotiation.

  • You have a strong knowledge of best information analyst and architecture techniques and methods; and extensive practical experience applying that knowledge.
  • Understanding of The Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti, Te Reo Māori and Māori customs and protocols would be beneficial.
