This is an exciting opportunity for a developing Business Analyst who is a highly organised professional with at least 2-3 years experience as a business analyst to help us ensure MFAT can operate effectively from its new Head Office.

The Business Analyst will support our team of experts to plan and execute the work needed to realise this vision. The role will support our team as we review our current policies, processes and practices, and look to improve the way we work to fully exploit the opportunities arising from the move to a new Head Office workplace towards the end of this year.
The role will provide a structured approach to:
- problem analysis, researching and documenting business requirements and evaluating options
- working collaboratively with a wide variety of Ministry functions to develop and map new processes and procedures
- developing and collating the security certification and accreditation documents required to operate from our new workplace
- preparing and presenting findings, recommendations, and proposed solutions to stakeholders.

We’d like to hear from you if you are a Business Anlyst with the following skills and experience:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methods
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearance.
Ideally you will also have a good understanding of tikanga (Māori customs and protocols), with the ability to weave te ao Māori (the Māori worldview) into your work.
