Location: New Zealand Consulate-General, Downtown Honolulu, Hawai’i, United States
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: March/April 2026 indicative

About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

Driving the operations management of Honolulu Post, you will be responsible for:

  • People & Business Process, ensuring strong systems and supporting staff transitions.
  • Budgeting & Financial Reporting, keeping Post on track and accountable.
  • Team Leadership, guiding an administrative team that covers:
    • Asset, Facilities & Inventory Management
    • Executive Support
    • Events & Public Engagement
    • Finance Operations
    • Social Media & Communications
    • Supplier & Contract Management
    • Travel Logistics & Coordination

 

You will also work closely with State and Federal Government agencies, as well as Foreign Missions based in Hawai’i, to make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Salary & Conditions | Utu me ngā Herenga

Band 15, midpoint USD $86,070 per annum.
You must have the right to work in the U.S. (A2 visa support available for eligible candidates). You must be across your tax obligations, including whether the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department’s On Government Service rules apply.
